Tombstone blues. Awesome movie. Kilmer at his best. Pretty much owned it. Michael Biehn had his best role in this movie. Between the two, it was all you could ask for in a most incredible showdown. Lost track of how many times I"ve watched this movie. With more to come...

Tombstone tactical. The Best Doc. Holiday ever Val Kilmer, classic movie. The fact that Val Kilmer wasn"t even nominated for best supporting actor tells one what a joke the Academy is. Disagree? Then watch the scene towards the end when Doc is close to death and he tells Wyatt about how tormented he is that the only woman he ever loved was a distant cousin who was sent away to be a nun once their relationship was discovered. Make sure to have something to dry your eyes with shortly after.

Best Western EVER! Ive seen it dozens of times over the years.
After having seen some other westerns from the late 80s-mid 90s,and having heard from friends about this movie,i decided to pick up movie was a lot better then i ever thought it would be,and it has the look and feel of a great film,from maybe the 60s or 70s.
The plot:
After having retired as a lawman,Wyatt Earp decides to live in the town of Tombstone with his two brothers and his best friend Doc he gets to to the town,Earp finds out that there is a gang terrorising the town called The Cowboys.Everyone knows that The Cowboys think they are above everyone (even the law! As Earp and his family and friends stay at Tombstone,he realises that he must come out of retirement and get everyone to to stand up to Earp gets his family and friends to take out The will lead them to Arizona for The Shootout at The o.k. not all of Earps friends and family will be alive after the shootout.
View on the film:
Direction/screenplay,the film is directed by George (Rambo 2) smatos and the screenplay is by Kevin having seen this film,i am suppressed that Cosmatos is (i feel) really under-rated as a thing that Cosmatos does really well,is instead of letting the action drown the film down,he uses it at the right moment,so that the film is more a really great character piece.
Screenwriter Jarre does a great job with the characters,in giving them all there own time to build,and having the characters speak in a very "natural" way,so you can tell how much they are really good friends to cast.
Whilst this film is a fantastic ensemble film,i have to point out the major to actors of this first is Val Kilmer as Doc Holiday.I have to say that this is one of Kilmers best performances.(Along with his acting as the charismatic Jim Morrison in Oliver Stones flawed movie The Doors.) The other performance is Kurt Russell as the legendary Qyatt ssell (who has done some fantastic work with director John Carpenter and in the much under-rated film Breakdown, does a really good job playing the every man,who you can see wants to do everything to help the people in the oures these two actors would not be able to work in such a great group of actors,that includes-Sam Elliott,Powers Boothe and the very under-used Bill Paxton and Michael Biehn who all make the film work with there strong support work.
Final view on the film:
A western that anyone can enjoy (even those who usually don"t like westerns...

Tombstone territory. Quality performance all round but academy awards aren"t about acting, production etc. They are about politics, political correctness and ass kissing ??. This is my alarm. Despite it being written in the script as huckelberry it sounds like he said hucklebearer. Hucklebearer is a person who carries a casket.

Tombstone minecraft. Its sad how far lex has come and now hes dying with the community. I remember watching him like a year before bo3 came out. I refreshed for his videos everyday. He was and still is my favorite youtuber. But fame changed him. When people talk about the “old lex”, its true what they say. Lex doesnt upload anymore or do any top 5s, funny moments, or anything. Now he just streams every other month and acts like he knows everything about memes. Im just glad to say that I knew him before he blew up. I have tons of nostalgia from him. One of my favorite lines from Doc earlier in the movie is when someone asks him why hes even doing this, risking his life and choosing to get caught up in the battle, and Doc says, “Wyatt Earp is my friend.” “Hell, Ive got a lot of friends.” And Doc just says, “I dont.” Or how he was offended before the OK Corrall shootout when Earp told him he didnt have to involve himself. “That is a hell of a thing to say to me.” Makes this scene so much more powerful with all of that in mind. Doc couldve been just as bad as Johnny Ringo, but he had a friend like Wyatt Earp, and that really meant something to him. His loyalty is beautiful.

Tombstone spider man. Tombstone book. Before Old Town Road we had this masterpiece, still better. The last line Tom Mix wept is so powerful, it pumps me up- such a great movie. I was never into western movies until Tombstone. Now it is one of my all time favorite movies. There are very few films that blow me away and still keep me in awe hours after watching it. Tombstone is one of the few. The action scenes were wonderfully captivating and the scenery and costumes were splendid but I believe it was the acting and the characters portrayed that hit me so hard and the biggest reasons why I love this movie so much. First of all Doc was amazing and Val Kilmer should have gotten more praise for his portrayal of the quick-shooting, great-one liner Doc that I continue to adore to this day. The loyalty, friendship and brotherhood emanated between himself and Wyatt and their scenes together were just incredible. Kurt Rusell was perfect for the role of Wyatt Earp and I believe he played the part of this historical character the best out of any other actor playing the role. My favorite line in the whole flick is a quote of Doc"s of course "I got two guns one for the each of ya. I also love it when Wyatt beats this guy, who was beating a horse and just gives him that hard look and says "Hurts doesn"t it? Dana Delaney was wonderful as the spirited Josephine and her scenes were all charming especially the love scenes with Wyatt. I especially love the part when he finds out she played the devil. And the crowning touch on this movie is how historically accurate it is. Excellent best western ever made (in my book. Four stars.
